Reflection for Yachting
Something I was pleased with was that everyone had a turn because some people didn't say no when they were asked to take out other students.
I really enjoyed learning how a yacht works because I did not know how to.
Something I found hard was trying to not hit other boats because I didn’t want to crash.
Something that made me think was how to find which way the wind was coming from because we were not allowed to go against the wind.
Something I want to get better at is being brave in the yacht I can not be so scared.

Soccer Ball Poem
I am a soccer ball
I am able to roll on the ground and be kicked
I am happy when you play with me and kick me
I DO NOT like it when you leave me outside I get really dirty
I wish you would always play with me
I am always lonely I need a friend
I would like to tell my owner to clean all the time cause I always dirty.

Dead Harry
This is my Letter to Ken Cartran

Wednesday 21st August 2013
Dear Ken Catran
Hello, My name is Tracey. I go to Parkvale School in Hastings. My teacher, Mr Moriarty read room 16 ‘Dead Harry’, we really enjoyed the book. Then some of us made trailers on the iPad' my group was Olivia, Cameron and Dylan.
My favourite characters were Elias Milton and Harry. I like Elias Milton because of his yellow teeth and smile. I like Harry because he is really freaky how he can take his eyeball out and then he put it in Sam’s pencil case which was really funny.
My favourite parts were the last two chapters when they nearly got killed but then Elias Milton helped then by sliding the key under the door. Harry followed Sam around everywhere he went.
I really like your story, I would like to read more of your books, but they won’t be as good as Dead Harry’ it was a brilliant book!
Your Sincerely,
Tracey Ludeman at Parkvale School
