Rock hopping at camp

Rock Hopping
I am going up the steep rock. Bridgit launching me up, Mrs Hill pulling me up. I am nearly dropping down into Lake Kiriopukae. Mrs Hill says “give me your  hand please." I say “here."

Anthony pulled me up to the top. “Thank you," I say to him and I go to the next rock where Miss Patel is. I go up this rock. Ollie helps me up. This is easy to get up. I don't need any more help.

The teacher was Mr Ross I went at kindergarten   and school with his daughter.
Then we got in our harnesses

First my group went to the ground practice and they showed us how to belay and climb.
Then we went to the wall it was really fun and we get to go for the next 2 weeks on Thursday.

Week Two
Today we went rock climbing at Karamu for week 2

Walkathon reflection

Reflection for walkathon  (my team leopards )
· Something I was pleased with was my team did really well because they stack together.
· I really enjoyed learning different things about my group because we need to learn lots about our team to go to camp.
· Something I found hard was  thinking of our chant and keeping up with the boys.
· Something that made me think was remembering our time because we  know our final time.

· Something I want to get better at is  walking faster so I can keep up
          (wear better shoes )

My first motorbike

Here is the link to tagxedo http://www.tagxedo.com/
This is my poem here

I have always been lucky
When I was 5 I got my
first motorbike that was red
and it was called Sally.
I rode it every weekend I never left it.

I would always go outside and wash
my motorbike every day even if it was
sparkly clean.

When I ride my motorbike and
go fast  it feels like I’m flying in the sky.

When I ride my motorbike
and I pass another person on
there motorbike
I feel excited.

When I had Sally
my cousin had the same bike as me
but his was called lightning McQueen
because we always watched lightning McQueen in our bus.

I still love that motor bike

Hemani and Tracey maths building

From the top

This is a tower that me and Hemani made for maths.

We had to create a solid tower out of 36 colorful blocks.
For the area we had 4 centimeters Squared 2 (2x2)
For perimeter we had 8 centimeters (2x2=4x2)
For the volume we had 36 centimeters cubed 3 (9x2x2) (because the height is 9)
